Brick facade systems deliver the appearance and durability of traditional brickwork in a lightweight construction system, making them an increasingly popular choice for residential, commercial and multi-residential projects. DA Bricklaying supplies and installs a range of architect-specified brick facade systems, working closely with builders, architects, brick manufacturers and facade system manufacturers to ensure every installation meets both the design intent and the system requirements.
The team has experience installing systems including NexBrick, Empire Brick System, Brickworks Tru-Brix and Fairview Smartbric, along with other proprietary brick facade systems. Whether engaged to install the facade system alone or as part of a complete masonry package, every installation is completed with the same level of care, accuracy and finish expected of quality brickwork.

Structural blockwork forms the foundation of many residential, commercial and multi-residential projects. DA Bricklaying delivers reinforced and core-filled blockwork for basements, retaining walls, lift shafts, fire-rated walls and other engineered structural elements, all constructed in accordance with engineering specifications and project requirements.
Whether it's supporting the levels above, retaining surrounding ground or providing the structural framework for the next stage of construction, the team understands that accuracy at this stage is critical. Getting the foundations right allows every trade that follows to work from a structure that is square, level and built to specification.

Bricklaying has been part of Damian Amuso's life from the beginning. As a second-generation bricklayer, he grew up around the trade and has now spent more than 27 years building his experience across residential, architectural and commercial projects.
Together, Damian and Tara Amuso have built DA Bricklaying around skilled workmanship, strong relationships and a straightforward approach to business. Their involvement extends beyond the projects the team delivers, with long-standing connections across the industry and close working relationships with builders, architects, brick manufacturers, facade system manufacturers and suppliers.
Damian has represented Australia three times at the SPEC MIX Bricklayer 500 in Las Vegas, the world's largest bricklaying competition. Tara joined him as his mason tender in 2019, becoming the first female mason tender to represent Australia at the event. The experience opened the door to international connections, industry presentations and opportunities to learn from bricklayers and manufacturers across Australia and overseas.
Team Amuso brings that wider industry journey together. Through Team Amuso, Damian and Tara share competition experiences, projects, industry events and the people behind bricklaying, while continuing to build connections and promote the trade in a positive and honest way.
